Some of life’s greatest lessons can be found in children’s books. I love the quotes that de-complicate the adult world and capture the essence of things in a sentence or two. Here are some of the best quotes from books I used to read and still love.

I love the poem I am Me by Virginia Satir, world-renowned American psychotherapist and author. I decided that I am going to read this poem to myself, on my birthday, every year! This helps us overcome the challenges we face and enjoy and celebrate all the good things in life. Enjoy!

I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I fall in.
I am lost… I am helpless.
It isn’t my fault.
It takes forever to find a way out. Continue reading “Autobiography in 5 Chapters”
